Since 2000 BC Ireland's goldsmiths have been producing stunning jewelry. One of the earliest pieces were gold collars known as 'lunulae' from the Latin Luna 'moon'. A hoard of 3 Bronze Age lunulae were found in a bog in Kerry in 1864. It is these beautiful pieces that have been the inspiration for these torc pieces by Brian de Staic.
