Newgrange is a 5,200 year old passage chamber located in the Boyne Valley. The spirals found on the entrance stone of this Megalithic site inspired this piece. The oldest symbols often associated with the Celts are spirals.

This piece also has a trinity knot This decorative knot is now a recognized symbol in Irish culture and design with many different interpretations. Among the most popular meanings, Trinity Knot may represent: 'the past, the present and the future', 'abiding love' and 'mind, spirit and body'. It also represents eternity, continuity, no beginning & no end.

The name Clonfert is a tribute to the  Irish saint Brendan of Clonfert, otherwise known as Brendan the Navigator.

The Pendant comes with an 18 inch chain.
