The Story:
The Celts wore torcs, crescent shaped, collar neck pieces, to protect them against harm as they were thought to have magical powers. The torc acted as a talisman to protect the wearer. There are legends of warriors going naked into battle wearing only a torc to protect them!
This pendant is called the 'Saoirse', the Irish word for 'freedom'. We hope this piece brings courage and strength to the wearer to be free.
