These earrings are replicas of the beautifully carved cross at the center of the Ardmore Standing Stone, handcrafted in silver or gold by Brian de Staic. *Pictured in 14 karat yellow gold (sterling silver option is silver in colour)

The Story:
Ardmore is located in the parish of Lispole in West Kerry. The Ardmore stone was discovered during excavation in 1978. The Stone features a richly decorated Greek cross relief, set in a round panel. The arms of the cross consist of double bands; at the end of each arm the decoration spirals outwards to meet the spiral from the adjacent arms. The Ardmore stone has some similarities with the Killmalkedar Stone. This stone is one of the finest and most beautiful of those found on the Dingle peninsula.
These earrings have been Irish hallmarked by the Assay Office at Dublin Castle and come presented in a beautiful Brian de Staic display box.
