Brian and Máiread started as a jewellery business in 1981.
25 years later, the business has grown and is now a successful manufacturing and wholesale company with six retail shops in Ireland. The business has grown to the point where 35 people are now employed.

- Opened first Shop and Workshop in Green Street, Dingle.

Commissioned to make personalised jewellery from the Ogham collection, which was presented to the U.S. President Bill Clinton, his wife Hillary, and actor Paul Newman, among others.

- Brian de Staic's jewellery-making process featured in Eurovision '95 video postcard slot.
- 1999
- Opened the fifth retail shop in the Killarney Outlet Centre, Killarney.
- 2000
- Brian de Staic personally presented Pope John Paul II with a Pilgrim Bell in Rome in December 2000.
- 2001
- Opened the sixth retail shop in the new shopping centre at Manor West Retail Park, Tralee, Co. Kerry.
- 2002
- Extended and refurbished workshop.
President McAleese was presented with a gold Torc brooch, engraved "Uachtarán".
An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern officially opens the newly-extended and refurbished workshop.

- Brian de Staic Wins the International Star Quality Award in the Gold Category for Corporate Achievement, Quality and Excellence.
- 2004
- In response to a huge demand for his designs, Brian de Staic opens a second workshop in Dingle.
Brian de Staic expands his business in America.
First exhibition of Brian de Staic Jewellery in California.
Brian de Staic shop in High St, Killarney was extended and refurbished.

- Mairead de Staic presented Brian de Staic Jewellery Collection live on QVC America Shopping Channel.
Brian de Staic Jewellery was featured on a special TV program "An Tuath Nua".
Purchased New Premises in Green St. Dingle. The Georgian stone faced building is believed to have been part of Lord Ventry's estate and may have been built
around 1840.
