Brian and Máiread de Staic started as a jewellery business in 1981. 29 years later, the business has grown and is now a successful manufacturing and wholesale company with five retail shops in Ireland.

2010 JUNE: Brian de Staic designs and creates "The Gregory Peck Award" for the Dingle film Festival which is presented to Director Stephen Frears.

APRIL: Brian de Staic receives a special Merit Award at Kerry Fashion week for his contribution to design Locally, Nationally & Internationally.

MARCH: Brian de Staic exhibits at the California State Fair in Sacramento.

2007 Brian de Staic is short listed for 2007 Business Awards, Gradam Gnó na Gaeltachta. The company is profiled in a six part television series on TG4. Brian de Staic named the winner in the Natural Resources Category. 

2006 CELEBRATING 25 YEARS IN BUSINESS Politicians, representatives of the Jewellery Industry, The Business Community, Musicians and Artists, celebrated in Dingle.

2003 Brian de Staic wins the International Star Quality Award in the Gold Category for Corporate Achievement, Quality and Excellence.

2002 Extends and refurbishes workshop.

President Mary McAleese is presented with a gold Torc brooch, engraved "Úachtarán".

2001 Opened the sixth retail shop in the new shopping centre at Manor West Retail Park, Tralee, Co. Kerry.

2000 Brian de Staic personally presented Pope John Paul II with a Pilgrim Bell in Rome in December 2000.

1999 Opened the fifth retail shop in the Killarney Outlet Centre, Killarney.

1995 Brian de Staic's jewellery-making process featured in Eurovision '95 video postcard slot.

1994 The fourth retail shop opened at The Tracks in Dingle. Commissioned to make personalised jewellery from the Ogham collection, which was presented to the U.S. President Bill Clinton, his wife Hillary, and actor Paul Newman, among others.

1992 President Mary Robinson visits workshop. Brian de Staic featured in "The Financial Times"

1988 Opened third retail shop at 18 High Street, Killarney.

1986 Opened new workshop and second retail shop at "Ceardlann na Coile". Brian de Staic company profiled in "The Irish Times"

1981 Opened first Shop and Workshop in Green Street, Dingle.

Brian de Staic uses the finest materials to elaborate its jewellery. We only use Irish Hallmarked sterling silver for our silver creations and Irish Hallmarked gold for out 10k, 14k and 18k in our gold designs.

We use only environmental friendly materials in all our products.

In Brian de Staic, we keep the traditional way of making jewellery. Every piece of jewellery is made individually, each ring, pendant, brooch or bracelet is a miniature work of art.
